The Project:

Combine the space of a small powder room, closet, and “extra hidden” space into a charming and functional Master Bath retreat for two busy professionals.

The Team:

Ken Ralsten and the team from Premier Builders

Unique Challenges:

• Design Master Bath to meet the varied schedules and needs of two busy doctors with a large shower and soaking tub, ample storage & vanity space
• Have all vanity pieces and trim match existing antique furniture in Master BR
• Make the new space with walls and flooring to be plumb and square from the existing older space that was far from perfect

Premier Builders’ Solutions:

• Open up several small rooms of an old house to design an “open & airy” Master Bath retreat with antique claw foot tub and faucet and large oversized shower
• Open floor to retrofit existing plumbing while removing old pipes
• Match existing maple flooring in adjacent hallway and Master Bedroom
• Custom design and make all millwork, including vanity and wardrobe pieces, beaded board for walls and all trim
